If you deposit funds to the wrong address, Coinsquare is not responsible for any losses.
Please note:
- The only ERC20 tokens that Coinsquare currently supports for deposits are listed in this article.
- Coinsquare cannot guarantee the recovery of any funds that are transferred to the wrong address, which includes non-supported ERC20 tokens, such as USDT.
- Coinsquare does NOT support deposits made via BEP2 and BEP20 networks and they are not recoverable by Coinsquare.
- If you are sending ERC-20 coins via Binance, Trust Wallet, or any other exchange/wallet that supports BEP2 and BEP20 transactions, you must select ERC20 for your funds to be successfully deposited into your Coinsquare account.
If you have sent an unsupported deposit to your Coinsquare account, please reach out to our support team with the following information:
- the amount and currency of the deposit,
- the transaction ID/hash,
- the wallet address of the sender,
- a screenshot or proof of the transaction details.
Once the required information is collected, it will be forwarded to our technical team for review. If recovery is possible, Coinsquare can attempt to recover the funds, however, recovery is not guaranteed and can take an undetermined amount of time. In cases where retrieval is possible, a fee of $250 CAD will be charged.
