Coinsquare recently migrated all of our clients over to an upgraded version of the platform. As part of this process, every client was given a brand new set of deposit addresses associated with our new platform, replacing all previous deposit addresses.
Going forward, you should always use your new deposit addresses for any deposits sent to Coinsquare. You can find your deposit address for any fully supported digital asset here.
If you accidentally deposit to your old Coinsquare address instead of your current address, reach out to our Support team. Be sure to have your deposit details on hand, such as the digital currency name, source address, transaction ID, and amount.
In some cases, retrieval of assets may be possible, but we cannot guarantee that your assets will be returned and we cannot provide a timeline for retrieval. In cases where retrieval is possible, a fee of $250 or 15% of recovered funds (whichever is greater) will be charged.
Once the required information is collected, it will be added to a recovery list and forwarded to our technical team for review.
In the event that we are able to retrieve this deposit, we will contact you directly. Note that there might be a recovery fee withheld from the amount we retrieve for you, in the event we are able to do so.
